We have employed Alex for a whole variety of work over close on two years. This included both internal and external decorating some of which required considerable preparation to deal with poor plaster work including old ceiling moldings which were of historical value. Repairs were also necessary to rotten timber work which had to be cutout and replaced with new shaped pieces taking care to undertake preventative measures where new pieces had to be put in place. Internal decorations required wallpaper removal and walls and ceilings to be prepared,papered with lining paper and painted. All woodwork had to be rubbed down and undercoated and top painted. Alex also hung patterned wallpaper requiring considerable skill. Alex was always willing to undertake the most challenging jobs and to do many little ancillary items of work always without complaint. He took great care to protect items of furniture and clean throughout on completion. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

I employed Alex to paint the exterior of my cottage, the interior of the conservatory and the bathroom. He has always been enthusiastic, efficient and an excellent worker. Nothing is too much trouble for him. I have always been very happy with his work.

If you are looking for a good, local painter then look no further than Alex. I had no idea about things but chose Alex after looking on YELL for reviews. Thank goodness I did! He is reliable, honest, on time and an expert in his field. He did the job with no fuss and left everything clean and tidy. He was like a member of the family and fitted in with our routines and problems. I thoroughly recommend Alex and would have no hesitation in using his services in the future. Thank you Alex!

Hired Alex to paint the hall stairs and landing and my study. I find it a bit hard painting as you get older. He did an excellent job and will have him back again . Hard to find someone who listens to what you want.

Full interior house painting

Alex worked for me for just over 2 weeks painting the whole of my house's interior. I cannot fault any of his work, he was always on time and left each day leaving the house neat and tidy. The workmanship is perfect, he offers a very good daily rate and is highly efficient. Cannot recommend enough!

Alex painted our hall, stairs and landing including 11 doors. His quote was reasonable, he completed the job on time and the finish was excellent.

He left the house spotless every day, was prompt and courteous. He was also great company and very easy to get along with.

Alex has just finished redecorating the interior of our house. We originally wanted the walls re-papered, but Alex persuaded us that he could make the walls good enough to paint. We were so glad he did, the result is fabulous! As we both are at work during the week, we felt entirely comfortable leaving Alex to get on with his job.
